Biography

Judy Lee is an academic reference librarian with responsibilities for reference, instruction, and orientation, as well as selecting for the Libraries’ collections in Asian American Studies, and, in the past, sociology and psychology. She is an active member of the California Academic and Research Libraries (CARL), the state chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), and Southern California Instruction Librarians (SCIL), a CARL Interest Group. At UCR she was a founding member, convener, chair, and past chair of Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women. Since the early 1990’s she has been active with the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs. Judy is a second generation Chinese American from California.
