    Rao, Malempati M

    Professor of Mathematics

College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences
    Mathematics

    Research Area

My research covers the areas of Probability theory and functional analysis. Recent work deals with higher order stochastic differential equations, inference theory of stochastic processes on both Gaussian as well as general second order processes and fields, especially harmonizable classes. On abstract analysis, my research concentrates on function spaces, particularly Orlicz spaces, and applications to harmonize analysis and prediction theory. Also convolutions on nonabelian groups, and spectral properties of convolution operators, is being studied.
