    VISITING SCHOLAR APPOINTMENTS & CONSULTING MISSIONS

    Professor Hanson has been a visiting scholar at several international universities including: the University of Antioquia in Medellin, Colombia; Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela; the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Buenos Aires, Argentina; the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture in Madrid, Spain; and the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Spain.

    Professor Hanson has been a consultant on topics of educational reform in developing countries for UNESCO, UNDP, USAID, USIA, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Harvard Institute for International Development. He has conducted research or consulted in the USA, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Spain, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines.
